Working In Care Settings: Induction And Foundation Standards

As part of the Care Standards Act 2000, the National Minimum Standards state that new care staff must receive Induction and Foundation Standards training in the first 6 weeks and the first 6 months of employment respectively. In this new workbook style approach, Val Michie provides the underpinning content and practical activities needed to demonstrate knowledge and understanding for both Standards.
Each chapter directly maps to either an Induction or Foundation Standard and the activities within provide the opportunity for recording evidence and experience.
